VISITORS POLICY 

1. If visitors and / or companion is prohibited by the physician for the health of the patient, please follow the doctor orders. Our visiting hours are between 10:00 and 22:00.

2. Children under the age of 10 are not accepted as visitors, except in very special cases, as they may have difficulties in using personal protective equipment. However, in some cases, the children of the patients and their siblings and friends may be allowed to visit for a short time, provided that the infection control principles have positive effects on the patient’s recovery.

3. Make sure that our patients do not have two visitors at the same time and that the visit time is limited to 10 minutes.

4. To visit patients in intensive care, reach the patient’s nurse via the phone at the entrance of the unit. If there is no medical problem, you can be taken in if the patient and intensive care environment are suitable. Pay attention to the information about the visiting rules during the entrance.

5. People with fever, runny nose, cough, diarrhea, vomiting and infectious dermatitis are not accepted as visitors.

6. In the presence of an epidemic in the community, visits can be restricted.

7. Wash your hands before and after the visit or use the hand sanitizer in the area.

8. Follow the recommendations of our healthcare professionals during the visit to isolated patients.

9. Do not touch other patients and patient care materials other than your own patient.

10. Pay attention to the privacy of patients and their relatives during your visit.

11. Be careful not to engage in behaviors such as crying or yelling that reflect your emotional state (as it may be harmful to them) next to our patients.

12. In order to protect the health of our patients, please do not bring or accept outside food or drinks.

13. Earthy flowers are not accepted into patient rooms due to the risk of infection. Earthy flowers coming on behalf of the patient will be delivered to him while he is discharged.

14. Please do not use mobile phones in areas with medical equipment.

15. Don’t miss with the devices in the rooms such as the water heater etc. Because it may cause technical problems.

16. Don’t speak loudly.

17. Pets are not allowed.

18. Smoking is strictly prohibited in our hospitals outside of designated areas.

19. Visitors who are in the room after 22:00 are accepted as companions. Only 1 attendant can accompany our patient in the room.

20. Patients hospitalized in intensive care units, patients who are in isolation. patients with a risk of contamination, patients with low or impaired immune system, cancer treatment, steroid therapy, and those who are inconvenienced by the doctor should not be visited.

21. Who aren’t allowed to visit:

Children under the age of 10.

Patients with complaints such as fever, cough, sneezing and sputum production, and patients with a known infectious disease.

Patients with any chronic disease.

People who are prone to getting infections.

22. “Visiting Rules” is also specified at the entrance gate of intensive care units.

23. TO WHOM IS INFORMED ABOUT THE HEALTH OF THE PATIENT;

If the patient is adult and conscious;

Information is given to him or his first degree relative

If the patient is a child; His parents are informed. Third parties are not informed about the patient.
