Treatment methods applied in Istanbul Hospital RADIOLOGY
Our imaging devices in the Radiology Department:
Direct radiography systems + CR technology
mammography
digital fluoroscopy
Ultrasonography + doppler ultrasonography
Interventional radiology (Invasive and noninvasive)
Bone densitometry
computed tomography
Fine needle biopsy from thyroid nodule (with imaging)
Computed Tomography (CT)
It is a technique that examines the body in the form of thin slices (3-10 mm) with x-rays (x rays). In this way, it helps in recognizing the diseases of the organs in our body.

Bone densitometry
It is a test conducted to evaluate bone density loss, to scan and measure bone mineral density. This test is used to diagnose the bone condition osteoporosis, which develops as a result of calcium loss in the bones. In bone densitometry, dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry or bone density scanning is known. Bone densitometry is a standard method for evaluating bone mineral density.
