Audiometry

In a noiseless and sound-insulated room, sounds are given to the test subjects to examine both air and bone conduction, from low frequency to high frequency, with the intensity of the sound increasing gradually at each frequency. Hearing losses are determined for each of the frequencies and plotted on a graph called an "audiogram". According to the audiograms prepared with people with hearing loss, it is understood that the hearing loss in the person is conductive or nerve type.
